Turner's Graduation Card

Here is a card I made for my cousin's high school graduation.

To make the card base, I welded two rectangles together and also the graduation hat. The hat is from the new Happy Graduation seasonal cartridge. I cut the tassel from the image because I wanted to make my own. I couldn't find a "2011" charm for the tassel that I made, so I decided to make one myself. I cut "2011" from Cricut Font out of Shrink Film at around .8 inches. It shrunk to the current size. "Congratulations" is also from Happy Graduation. "Turner" was cut from Kate's ABCs. The front of the card was looking a little plain, so I cut a white rectangle background and embossed it with the Dots Cuttlebug folder. I then inked the rectangle to give it a distressed look.

My Scrap Space

A challenge for the Circle Blog was to take a picture of your scrap space with you in it.

My space is centered around a table that my Grandpa made. His nickname for me was "Anchie," hence the name of my blog. I have all of my tools in the organizer on the table. My stamps, punches, ink, extra supplies, paper trimmers and 12x12 box of my current project are all kept on the table's one shelf. Next to my table is a small computer table that I purchased from Walmart. My Imagine sits on top of it. It has two shelves that contain my Cricut mats, Cuttlebug, embossing envelopes and stickles. Next to the couch are three 12x12 paper organizers that I got on clearance at Joanns. I have all of my paper and scraps organized by rainbow color. I had two drawers left over so I put my ribbon in those. On top of the paper organziers I keep a photo box of pictures of the current project that I'm working on. The Ty Beanie Baby is a bear dressed as Elvis. This was a gift from my cousins. Lastly, on top of my Imagine is one of my helpers, Jack. (And no, he is not alowed on top of the Imagine, but he couldn't resist being in the photo. :-))
