Cricut Circle Blog: The Mess on Your Desk Game

So this game required that you use only the materials on your desk and/or in your wastebasket to create a tag or a card.  We also needed to use at least one Cricut cut that we previously discarded.  Unfortunately I had just cleaned up all of the scrap paper from the last challenge but luckily I was finishing up a card for my brother's graduation and left this graduation paper on my desk.  The  banner at the top of the tag is part of the border cut from the scavenger hunt.  I just added some doodling with my white gel pen to add some detail.  The star and the flourish (stickled now) are also from scavenger hunt.  Yesterday I was working on a graduation banner for my brother and I cut the blue background paper too small.  I have a stack of these (already embossed and inked) on my desk.  I recut them at a larger size for the banner and kept these smaller ones around simply because I hadn't had time to put them in my "unused Cricut cuts" box.  Luckily I did because this tag was screaming for something else and I realized I had them tucked away on the corner of my desk.  The ribbon is also from the card that I made this morning.  I plan to use this tag on a scrapbook page of the graduation.
