St. Paddy's Day Card

I finally got around to making my Grandmother a St. Paddy's Day card. I decided to combine it with a Circle Challenge. The Challenge was to make something in a monochromatic green color scheme or use rainbow colors. I also had to use two Cricut cuts and gold. I knew I wanted to use the leprechaun from Simply Charmed. Because the leprechaun isn't totally green, I decided to go with the rainbow colors. Even though the pot of gold has a rainbow as part of the cut, it doesn't include all of the rainbow colors. It was an easy fix though because I used stickles to complete the rainbow.


Everything was printed from white cardstock and cut using the Imagine. The leprechaun was cut at 3.5 inches (Simply Charmed), the pot of gold at 3 inches (Simply Charmed), shamrock at 1.5 inches (Designer's Calendar), and the block where I'll write my note was cut at 3.4 inches (Imagine stock images.) All of the patterns were from the Imagine More cartridge. I cut a square (also from the stock images) of each pattern at 5 inches and cut them to the size that I wanted. The card itself is 4.5x5 inches. I used the scalloped border punch from Fiskers. The shamrock was coated with a thick coat of Glossy Accents and I used a glue dot to secure the heart button. I also used twine that I got from Walmart. I didn't take a picture of the envelope but I did use the Cricut to create it. I cut the envelope associated with the star card on the Wild Card cartridge (3rd row, 8th column.) I cut it at 5 inches and used the hide condor feature to get rid of the star cut outs. The card fits the envelope perfectly.
